Bulk Change support (from £995)

Over time, Service Users may implement new systems, take over another business or merge with other organisations. These activities may result in a change of Service User Number, legal entity or Direct Debit reference numbers. All changes of this nature will require changes to instructions held at banks and so involve a “Bulk Change”. We are able to help identify the correct bulk change process to undertake, avoid potential issues and develop a project plan resulting in minimal impact to the business.

Any organisations that are merging Service User Numbers or changing their reference numbers would benefit from this support.

The financial impacts on a company can be significant if the bulk change is not carried out correctly. As this is a task that you are unlikely to go through multiple times it makes sense to get some outside help rather than learn the whole process in-house and potentially make mistakes.

The bulk change process may require you to write to customers to make them aware of the changes, though this is not always the case. Each bulk change process will be different. You will almost certainly need to make amendments to Direct Debit Instructions through the Bacstel-IP system, understanding how to make these amendments and getting the timing right is critical.
